Evening folk's,Jane A Potts married my Uncle Robert Henry Smith in 1936,I can't pick up the place
only that it was County Durham I would think Gateshead as my Grandparents lived in Felling at the
time.Robert and Jane had a son born 1936.Robert was killed in France 1940 with the DLI so neither
he or Jane were Known to me but I believe their son visited my parents and I have a photo of him in
his National service days in the army.I wondered if anyone can cast light on Jane and her family as I
can't see anything census wise I think she may have had a brother Robert as he is named in my Uncle's army will.Any info would be appreciated her last place of abode was Wardley according to the
family info on Roberts CWGC entry.

Many thanks for that Jon definitely her I have a photo of Uncle Bob in uniform with Wesley Lane Felling on the Back I'm not sure when the register was taken but as Bob was a Territorial he would have been called
to duty in September of that year.I often wondered if she re-married now confirmed.

I think she ticks all the boxes as her husband was not at home when the 1939 Register was taken.  And Jane Ann Potts in 1911 has a brother Robert!
