Original Military documents from WWII
« on: Monday 01 May 23 23:18 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know whether original WWII soldier's documents can be sent back to the Army.  About half of WWII military records were destroyed by fire in 1971 in St. Louis (including my father's).   I would love to find a repository for my father's original military documents.   Who does one contact?
Miller (PA), Cribbs (PA), Schenck (NJ), Piggott (VA),
Trible (VA), Witham (Maine, Ohio), Hudson (VA),
Cloptom (VA), Fleming (VA), Michaux (France, VA)
Morgan (VA), Howden (Ireland), Bustard (Ireland),
Seaton (Scotland), Cameron (Scotland), Kennedy (Scotland), Forbes (Scotland), Reinhard/t (Baden, Minn), Buche (Switzerland), Fouquette (Quebec)
