Ancestry keeps suggesting Richard Mathew, who died 1 Aug 1610 in Vienna, as the father of my ancestor Edward Mathew (lived in Wiltshire). Based on another members tree. I have.asked them for the source but no reply. Maybe a long shot but has anybody got evidence of the death mentioned above? Is there anything to suggest he was from England?

Thank you for looking it up. I had considered that but Latton is along way from West Lavington? Though not as far as  Vienna  :) How can you be sure its the correct one?

To start, what are the baptismal details of the "Edward Mathew, Wiltshire" where Anc. are putting forward a "Richard Mathew, Vienna" as a possible father?

West Lavington is mentioned.
