Clara Askin nee Clark married Joseph Smith in Hunslet Moor in 1900
« on: Tuesday 20 June 23 22:22 BST (UK) »
My relative Clara Clark born 1849 married William Askin in 1868. William died in 1890 and she married Joseph Smith at St Peter Hunslet Moor in 1900. I then can't find any trace of her or Joseph after this. If anyone can look them up for me and find something I would be really grateful thanks!

She may have married Mr. Smith in 1890, but in the 1891 census she is still calling herself Clara Askin a widow and is living with her children. No sign of Joseph Smith.
 I wonder if her died?

1901 4192 /91/23
Poor writing
Joseph Hewitt 69 yrs
Clara 51 yrs
Charles W Arkin 19 yrs
Tom A 17 yrs
Harrie 11 yrs

This is from Ancestry - it does look like Hewitt. Also reads Askin, Tom S and Florrie.
