Many thanks!  I did not think to look for her outside Shoreditch.  Must adjust my searching -- time to dig back into the London tree in my UK-ancestors' forest!  I remain grateful for RootsChat.

They appear to have emigrated soon after, as daughter Florence Louisa Griffin was born about 1883.

Florence was born in England.

Thank you!  This confirmed my hypothesis about Daisy.

I believe the daughter named “Daisy” in her mother’s 1931 death notice is “Harriett Daisy” born 1892.

In the 1930 electoral roll
Daisie Harriett GRIFFIN – book binder
(living 1 Carlotta St Greenwich, same address as her sister Ethel Swan)
and
Harriett GRIFFIN and Winnifred GRIFFIN (living at 43 Carlotta St Greenwich)

In 1954 electoral roll Daisy Harriett GRIFFIN is still living in Greenwich, still a book binder (so still unmarried then)

Thank you -- I wondered the same thing, because the Barfields used St. Leonard's and St. John the Baptist for a couple of decades.  But, the register clearly says St. James'.

This is exciting!  Thank you!  Now to determine if she was "my" Winifred.  I found her at 1 Bellevue Avenue, Greenwich, in the 1943 Electoral Roll for Lane Cove. He was Postmaster.  I was unable to identify a method for searching by address to see who was at Winifred's Carlotta Street address in 1943 (another point in favor of confirmation).

Thank you for the suggestion.  My DNA results are uploaded pretty much everywhere.  But, Harriet Barfield was the sister of my great-great-grandfather.  If I have any DNA at all from the Barfields, the corresponding matches to Harriet's descendants would be in the negligible range.
