I am looking for the marriage of Johnston & Margaret (née Hunter) McLean around 1800s in Girvan.

They had the following children, All born in Girvan:

Mary Mcclean (born abt. 1806)
Elizabeth Mcclean (born abt. 1812)
Margaret Mcclean (born abt. 1814)
Agnes Mcclean (born abt. 1820)
Johnstone Mcclean (born abt. 1822)
Thomas Mcclean (born abt. 1824)

Have you checked ScotlandsPeople at all?  Girvan births/baptisms are covered for that period.  Indexes are free to search, but if you wish to view any image, then you would need to purchase credits.  However, familysearch.org (free account available) will give you the transcription, but no image.

Sorry, I should have said that if they married in Girvan, no marriages are recorded between 1794 and 1825.  See the detailed coverage of OPR here:

Nowhere. The point is that the relevant register has not survived, so the information does not now exist.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
