I am trying to establish a connection however tenuous between the surnames KERSLAKE and DEAN in Ide pre 1817. I have a birth for John Dean Kerslake at St.Clements Dane Church in 1817 with parents Frances and John Kerslake. I believe that JOHN snr. moved to London from Devon following other brothers? I have burials for many Kerslakes and Deans in Ide but wondered if anyone could help with a marriage of these two surnames?
