Ancestry Annual renewal is changing to twice yearly

just to clarify  - 1 got year renewal at £59.99 - premium membership
1 year premium membership doesn't seem to available now but 6 month would be  £69.99 now with no discount for that membership level

I’m a little confused here… I’ve been using the link that Sandra posted for a few years now and have Worldwide annual membership…..my current sub runs out in Feb ‘24…
so are you saying that if I cancel that say in the next couple of months I’d get a refund then I can still use the RC link to obtain an annual sub therefore taking the renewal date to Sept/ Oct ‘24 rather than let it run it’s course until Feb ‘24 and then have to pay half yearly?

Hope all that makes sense!

I used to have FindMyPast sub too but found having both expensive, although I do miss it for 1921 census mostly.. of course now lost the automatic 15% disc they give making it harder to reconsider.. but couldn’t not have ancestry as it has my dna details and matches.

As said earlier  "I had a refund from my old membership and the world wide membership has cost me £65 for a year." My old membership was due to run out in  November 2023. I now have worldwide that runs out in August 2024.
