Baptism/christening records POINTON

I have a William Pointon (1841-1900) in my tree. He had a large family and relocated to Sculcoates or Southcoates with his wife Selina Marston. He then somehow made his way (undocumented) with his two eldest sons to Canada/the States and started a new family. This has been confirmed by DNA as I was dubious.
Anyway, Selina went on to have 3 more children and I'd love to know if they were baptised and who was named as the father.
They are
Beatrice Gill Pointon (July 1885-1900)
Albert Pointon (February 1887-1887)
&
Florence Pointon (21st July 1888-1961)
If anyone has access to this information which doesn't seem to be online, I'd be very interested.

You can now get digital images for some births and deaths from the GRO, available to download immediately. They cost £2.50 each. You have to search the GRO for the record and click the circle next to the name for the options available. These 3 births are all available as digital images.

The middle name Gill may be a possible clue to the fathers name but no guarantees

Christenings could take many months after the birth - or not at all.  It is also unlikely you would find the fathers name on either the birth cert or the christening record

In the absence of any online christening record it could be difficult

It was church records I was really after but any avenues are worth a view xxx

I've had a proper look at the GRO site now and bought the digital copy for Florence. Her birth was registered 6 weeks later by the mother who is recorded with a slightly different maiden name, and the father as her husband, even though he was remarried and having children in the US! I'm glad I'm not a direct descendent, I will just have to leave it....and assume that he was going back and forth and was highly fertile! 😃

As she was married to him she could register her childs birth with him as the father, he would not have had to be present.  It would be a different situation with a baptism as both parents would normally be at the church service.  Technically she was still married to him as I doubt they would have divorced.

Indeed there's no divorce, husband, William was just engaged in bigamy!
 
But there must have been contact because she knew when he'd diedand entered herself as widowed on the 1901 census. I think he may have been a metal worker on-board ships.

It is quite common for a woman whose husband has 'left home' to put herself as widowed on census, it would not have to been proved to the enumerator

Yes, I realise there are opportunities for lying, but in this case he really had died ...
Thanks for your idea though. It's perfectly possible.
