Hello everyone I'm building my family tree and desperately need a wee bit of help please, this is what I'm looking for:
I have a marriage in Dunfanaghy, Donegal 24/9/1864 between Robert Mitchell and Hannah McDade/McDaid, I can't find any births or deaths for either of these two people.
Roberts father was called Walter and Hannahs father was called Dominick (no details on them whatsoever).
They had a son Joseph (GGF) approx 1874 died 1955 in Glasgow, Scotland married to Mary McCurdy.
I'm trying to find out where Joseph was born and did he have any siblings. Thanks for any help you can give.

Have you found Joseph on either the Irish or Scottish 1901/1911

Same question for Robert & Hannah

The 1911 & 1921 Scottish censuses are available on a pay per view basis on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Viewing either will give you his birthplace

I haven't found them on the census as yet but will keep my eyes open

Should be there as he died 1955 Cambuslang aged 82.  SP is not a subscription site so although the index is free to search - you have to buy credits to view or download the entries/certificates

EDIT - Rosie has found them in 1921 so using that info should enable you to find them in 1911
