Im trying to find a baptism for this man.He married Elizabeth Arnell in 1752 in Westminster, and most online trees seem to have him as the son of John Paris and Jane Neville, from Sussex, but i can find no evidence for it.They have John born 1695 Sussex, and Jane born 1700,but i can find no marriage for them. Please can anyone help?

Nel.

There is a Francis PARISH baptised 11 Feb 1727/28 at St George, Wrotham, parents are John and Jane. A possibility.

I'm struggling to find the marriage for Francis and Elizabeth to see if there is any extra information to be gleaned.  What was the date and parish, please?

Do you know if either John or Francis left a will which might provide some clues e.g. relatives names or places.

OK, found it - it was a clandestine marriage that took place at the Fleet in London.

Francis Parish bachelor Labourer's man of Horton Kirby, Kent m 17 March 1752 Elizabeth Arnell of Horton Kirby.

I would be inclined to look more closely at the Wrotham marriage and family.  Horton Kirby is not far from this parish.

Thanks for the replies.
Most of the shared DNA matches suggest a link to my family from East Sussex, but i cant find a connection.Im also struggling to find a link to the ancestors of most of the shared matches, which makes me more and more convinced that they are from one of two illigitimate births in that part of my tree.

The Nevill family, and its variants, seem to be closeley interrelated with the Parris family.Another mystery is a lot of the shared matches for this Parris family go back to the Eastwood family of East Sussex. To William Eastwood bapt March 20th 1714 Mayfield, son of John and Ann.I think John married Ann Piper, but whats confusing is most of the community trees on Ancestry have William as William Nevell Eastwood;intriguing given the Eastwood matches are shared with the Parris/Nevill ones.Has anyone got any thoughts on that?
