Amazing to think my ancestor was born at No. 37 Chester Street in 1882.

Much of the old Chester Street has gone, there are still a few of the older posher buildings a bit further up past the register office heading out of town.
Further down into town many buildings have been demolished including a pub, the old fire station and the Guildhall building.
A few very old ones survived.
