Please forgive my ignorance; I have an extended family tree on Ancestry to which I have added my own DNA results . I am currently tracing my mother in laws family as part of my extended family ( all on the same tree) , am I able to add my mother in laws DNA results to the tree?

Provided her results are not linked to another tree and you have access to the results you can link them to your tree.
