Request to all picture restorersl

I am giving a presentation to our local Probus Group and would like to use the excellent repair work done by the other members here as examples during my talk.

If you would prefer me not to use your work or your photographs please let me know a.s.a.p.

The owners of all photographs used will of course retain their copyright.

If you print off some RootsChat leaflets and give them to each member, then that would be great!

As the images are copyright of the original owners you cannot reproduce them unless you get permission from them. So if you don't hear from somebody then unfortunatly cannot use the material.  :-[

I'm sure that if you contact the person concerned by Personal Message then they would be more than happy for you to give a talk based on their pictures.  ;)

Don't know whether "original owner" means the person making the request, if so one of mine is on here having been cleaned up, you are welcome if you want to use it.

The procedure to use these photo's is to send a PM to the original poster to ask for their permission to use the original. Once you have secured their permission you next ask the restorer if you can use their work. Although there is no legal obligation to do so it is just a common courtesy. Also as Trystan says a little bit of credit to Rootschat Forum would be appreciated.
