Cowen Charles born Harrogate 1857

I am trying to follow the family line of Charles. I know he married a girl called Agnes ( nor surname) born Easingwold in 1857. Have followed census records, going forward, just not been able to find the marriage date of Charles & Agnes.

Looking at the children's birth records on the GRO index, their mother's maiden name was Dale.

The marriage Shaun found was at Wetherby Register office so only way to find the details is likely to involve buying the certificate.

I agree, to be sure, a marriage certificate will be necessary. Harrogate to Wetherby, is only a few miles apart. Possible that Agnes was a domestic maid.

Yorkshire BMD has it as "Wetherby District Registered Building", so it could have been a non-conformist place of worship.

Thank you. Pretty sure that the Wetherby marriage is correct having followed the 1901 and 1911 census records. Think charges died 1915 in Knaresborough. The parents of Agnes were Thomas Dale & Eleanor Harrison, good Yorkshire folk.
