Hi, I am the Granddaughter of Ronald Reed from Castleford. His Father was Amos Reed and he had a Sister called Minnie, also a Brother who died quite young but I don’t know his name. Amos Reed 28yrs, bachelor, underground mechanic, of 50, Church View Whitwood, father George a miner.
Florence Richardson formerly HIRST 27, formerly the wife of Francis Hickton Richardson from whom she obtained a divorce, abode 14, Wood Lane, Whitwood., father William Hirst deceased an engine winder.
Ernest Reed and Minnie Reed were the witnesses.

Florence's 1st marriage: Florence Hirst/Francis Hickton Richardson, Apr-May-Jun 1905 Wakefield vol 9c page 122.

If you subscribe to Ancestry, or your local library has it you will find the divorce record there. Basically Francis H Richardson was an adulterer and deserted his wife (Florence) and child (John Richard Richardson)
