Worth Parish Registers - Marriages between 1680 & 1689

Hi All,
    Is anybody familiar with the Worth parish registers, specifically the Digital copy of the parish registers held on Ancestry at all, who can help me with a query.   
    I have been Slowly going through the registers adding the images to my family tree where appropriate, and have current hit a bit of a block with the marriage of my Great (x8) Grandparents. According to other sources, they were married in September 1685 in Worth, however when i go through the register images the page which should in theory contain that year has a gap between 1680 and 1689 (i.e. the page starts 1676, works down to may 1680, then the next entry is April 1689 and end on 1693).  I have tried paging through the rest of the images and can't spot those missing marriage years.  Has anybody else previously found them, or know if they were in recorded in a different place in those few years ?

The film is on familysearch.org. Free to view at home as long as you're signed in. (Film No 4429395)
It says  - 'marriages 1559-1680; 1689-1812 (missing years)'.
So it looks as if there are no marriages for those few years on the film.
I couldn't check for your marriage, as you give no names in your post.

They also have the film of the Bishops Transcripts. (No 4429420).
Again I couldn't search for your marriage, but I searched for marriages in 1685, and only 2  came up.
Only one in Sept 1685 - Thomas Ridley and Ann Gerrall. 22nd Sept.

    Yes that's the couple (its actual Ann Verral) i am looking at, i deliberately didn't mention  them as i didn't want to be accused of requesting a look-up :-)  I haven't used familysearch for a long time, as the 'images' historically were always poor microfilm copies, where Ancestry now have good color page scans, and that is the other source i was referring to (via the 'England, Select Marriages, 1538-1973' collection). 
     I am assuming that for some reason that those few odd years got recorded else where for some reason, but still made it into the BT versions, but i can\t locate that 'somewhere' :-)

it may be that the pages for the original registers for those years have gone missing, and only the BTs remain.
Sometimes early recording of bmds were on pieces of paper rather than in ledgers, and some of those loose papers went missing.
I don't think the actual marriage entries at this time would give you any more information than the BTs. Normally you just get the names of the brides and groom. Not terribly helpful!

Yeah, i am not expecting any more info, i am just trying to make the sources in my tree as complete as possible.  Images of the actual registers will always trump a transcript from the registers in my mind :-)
