Dorset Family History Society's Online Zoom Monthly Meeting
« on: Thursday 04 January 24 15:45 GMT (UK) »
Dorset Family History Society is hosting an on-line Zoom talk on Tuesday 20th February 2024 from 7.30p.m. - 9.15p.m. (approx.)

ON-LINE SPEAKER is LINDA HAMMOND with a talk on ‘THE NATIONAL 1939 UK REGISTER’.

Linda Hammond will be exploring the 1939 National Register and decoding its secrets!  Taken on the eve of World War II, the register provides family historians with a valuable insight which bridges the censuses between 1921 and 1951.

Linda holds a Master’s degree in Genealogy, Palaeographic and Heraldic studies with 35 years experience as a researcher and lecturer.

Dorset Family History Society Members who have consented to receive information by e-mail will find a meeting invitation link, and how to donate the £3 admission, in the E-News sent about 4 days before the meeting. Those who do not receive E-News, or who are not Society Members, are welcome to join this meeting and should follow the link on the website www.dorsetfhs.org.uk or email liaison@dorsetfhs.org.uk to request an invitation link at least 6 hours before the meeting is due to start. Then the log in will be from 7.15pm on the night.

The Society would welcome a  contribution of £3 towards the cost via our website.  Thank you.
