I suggest you look on Facebook and search for a South African genealogy group and join. You may find a researcher who lives in Cape Town who can go to the archives for you for a small fee. As for emailing the archives-good luck.

Thank you. I have found the names of some other private researchers. Maybe ten years ago, I rang the Western Cape Archives and paid over the phone. It may be another option.  That was only one page.  I do not have South African ancestry, but one of my direct ancestors lived there and my research is in connection with him.
