Can't find Medals Cards
« on: Sunday 21 January 24 14:31 GMT (UK) »
Can't find any Medal Cards for Pte Patrick Brennan of Liverpool Regt that seems to have become a Labour Corps in 1917 and he was injured then.
Can't make out his Number Tpp Right 65135? which appears to be a Labour Corps number
Any ideas ?

Sorry I can’t enlarge the image you’ve posted to see. What search terms did you use to find the record? The word casualty brings up those who died and I think you mean he survived the war. There’s a lot of Patrick Brennans about. Thanks.

If this man has moved units (perhaps more than once?)  he more than likely had another service number.  You may find his medal card under that service number.  In the First WW the service number was not unique to the man for the whole of the war it could change.

The Ancestors have now given me more information
That Labour Corps number has been written as 65135 and should be 65315
Just been told Patrick Brennan was his Alias
Found his Medal Cards now under A/849 in ASC as Patrick Joseph Carberry his Birth Name in Wexford 18 Dec 1882
There are 30 Pages found of several Attestations from 1913 to 1919 was also in Royal Welch Fusiliers and 5th King's as 4099
So much easier when they give all the known facts.
Thanks for your Input Folks
