Cluskey Family Drogheda
« on: Monday 22 January 24 14:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I am trying to find info on two of the great-great-grandparents John Cluskey (born: Feb 10 1867 Duleek Gate, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. Died unknown) and his wife Bridget Cluskey (nee Farrell) (born: 1968. Died unknown). They were married in Jan 11 1891 Drogheda, and had 9 children.
If someone could help me find out when they died as I can't seem to find anything online. Also any other info as well would be a great help

Just for information so we know who we are looking for:
1911 census
https://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Louth/West_Gate/Duleek_Street_West/573256/

Do you have marriages for the children? There might be an indication of when John died, if he is shown as deceased on any.

There is a death here for John Cluskey, widower. It is the same address as 1911 but the age is out. That information would depend on the informant - this is son, Patrick.

So, do you think that those deaths are your great great grandparents?

Are you looking for further records?

Added
I had found Joseph’s marriage and John’s occupation fits

A nrewspaper snippet mentions that he was the son of the late John, Duleek Street and Patrick was a ‘member of a much respected Gaelic…’

Thank you for this. If you find any more information about the family that would be very helpful
