Remembered at POPERINGHE NEW MILITARY CEMETERY II. F. 22.Belgium.
Also at St John the Baptist Church ,Tunstall

The Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment

Private Walter SLARKS, G/19336, 11th  Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, Flanders, France, 1st August 1917, age 35.

Born Murston, Kent, son of Charles Edward and Mary Jane Slarks, of Tunstall, Kent.

Next of Kin (Sister)  - L J Harding,  3 Pond Cottages, Tunstall, Kent.
