Cannot find a Laynton/Smithers marriage.

His dob was 14.3.1927 according to outgoing passenger record dated 18.5.1956. His address at the time was 62, Plowden Rd, Wythenshawe, occupation Textile worker, died according to a tree on Anc* 2002 Western Australia.

Mary Ellen Smethurst born Ashton 1900 - mother O'Brien
Mary E Smethurst born Bolton 1900 - mother Murray
Still think to be 100% sure I need a copy of the Laynton marriage certificate.

Going by married name &  birthdate 20 March 1907 in 1939 register she is working as a waitress in Prestwich, Lancashire she later remarried in 1970. (The register birth years are not always correct)
