Burial Records Parish of Humbie
« on: Thursday 15 February 24 00:48 GMT (UK) »
My ggg grandmother JANE SKIRVING (nee GRAHAM) died 14 Mar 1905 in Upper Keith , Parish of Humbie.  I am trying to find out where she was buried and whether there is a headstone (doubt it though). I have tried searching on line without success and am wondering if there is some kind person able to assist. Thanks, Bill.

Burial records are generally managed by the local authority. Your best plan is to contact East Lothian Council https://www.eastlothian.gov.uk/info/210565/birth_marriage_and_death/12122/burial_services/1 and ask them.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
