No my great grandmother was Elizabeth, she married John Chambers/McGaw (that is another mystery) and moved to Scotland. Growing up I only new about Annie as I have pictures of her with my gran as a child. Elizabeth sadly like her siblings Mary and Thomas also died Young of TB. I was aware of George just can’t find what happened to John.

Lizzie Cochrane married John Chambers on 11 July 1902 at St Patrick's Parish Church in Loughgilly civil parish. John Chambers was a miner living in Bothwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Lizzie's sister Annie was a witness.

Thanks Kiltaglassan,

In the absence of any other candidates I am drawn to this record?

It says Married and the age is ten years out don’t know if by being registered by the coroner would make the details more or less likely to be correct.

From the PRONI will calendars (and disregarding the 'Antrim' bit):

Cochrane Annie Maria of Keadymore Mountnorris county Antrim spinster died 22 February 1939 Probate Belfast 9 June to William McKnight Moffett farmer. Effects £48 1s. 5d.

The GRONI website death index gives a reported age at death of 64 for the above person, the death was registered in Newry district.  The GRONI website death index also shows a 1927 death registered in Newry district for a John Cochrane with a reported age of 73 (it's pay to view), you might want to check it, even if just to eliminate him.

Added: William McKnight Moffett was the son of Charles Moffett and Elizabeth Adams, the family also lived in Keadymore, so I'm guessing a respected friend / neighbour:

That’s brilliant Gaffy thanks.

I never thought to look at the will calendars I am sure that Annie is my great great aunt. Not sure about John though I would expect him to be 81 in 1927. Not to far out I will have a look.

The Moffetts and the Cochranes are either side of the shop in 1911 so they were near neighbours for at least ten years.

Just discovered Anna Maria is named after her aunt.
