The 1832 tythe valuation for Raheenmore (which according to a note on the previous page includes Raheenpark), shows two Esmonds - James and Patrick.

As John's eldest son was named James, it is highly likely that John was the son of James.

               I am wondering if we have the correct John Esmond . I have a death in 1890.
This may not be correct. Is there another John Esmond died in 1890 ? If so that date might have been taken by mistake ?
