Mary is a Bottle Winer?

Bottle is clearly written, Winer is not so clear

Bottler?  But cannot make out the small word below cellar.

"Cellar" may be a later annotation, standardising the type of work.  Need to see more of the page to compare the style of other annotations.

Apparently there was an occupation of Botter, Cellar!

Maybe that small word is what she was actually putting in the bottle?

Census officials added words later, perhaps here saying bottler should be classified as a cellar-type worker to fit into a group which they actually counted.  It looks as if this may have been added above the line.  But you need to compare the style of it with other annotations on the page or neighbouring pages to see if it is typical of the handwriting, different from the enumeratior's writing, but similar in this case.

Ale? Cannot see it, but it is a short word!

Bottler serv?

There are a small number of newspaper references to “bottler’s servant”, although admittedly these are in Scotland. They seem to have been involved in recycling bottles via the deposit system.

Maybe it's not a short word..... there is a funny loop right under the two L's in cellar..... could it be "Washer" and the "Wa" faded away?   ???
