Breage marriage 1728
« on: Thursday 04 April 24 00:41 BST (UK) »
Hi, me again!

I'm hoping one of you geniuses can help me.

I have a marriage between William Williams and Catherine Rosewarden* 27/07/1728 in Breage. The trouble is I find it could be one of 2 Williams, one born in 1697 and one 1704. I've no idea how to work out which one it is

I see the transcription is on freereg.

You could contact the Records office to see if any further info is available on the original but info on marriage entries so far back was very sparse.  It’s unlikely you would get anything to help determine the right William

Coming forward sometimes the names they give their children can be a clue as to their ancestors.
