The marriage of Charles Robert Elliot and Ethel Wilson
« on: Thursday 04 April 24 17:24 BST (UK) »
Hi
I am trying to find without success a marriage date for the wedding of Charles Robert Elliot 1826 to 1971 and Ethel Wilson 1893 to 1951
In the 1921 Canadian census the couple are described as married living in Grenfell Town Qu'Appelle-Saskatchewan with a daughter Beatrice aged 1 and in 1931 living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with 2 further children Esme 7 and Kieth 1.
Both Charles and Ethel were born in England with Charles coming to Canada in 1901 and Ethel in 1919 Charles fought in the first world war from 1915 until he was medically discharged in 1919.
I think they were probably married after Charles discharge from the Army but could also have been theoretically married in England.
Thanks for any help or advice given
Tony

Marriage more than 75 years ago are not available. Work on those will start after the death index is completed.
