Just picked up a probate for William Morton Hall died 1948 Parkview, Johannesburg

What does ‘married out of community of property” mean ? To Lily Gladys Jubilee Hall ne Gibbans???

Presuming that this is his second marriage, though not found the first one as yet

Mr Google says :- All “Out of Community of Property” marriages, either with or without accrual have to be registered by means of an ANC. This means that the couple has to go before a Notary Public and execute an Ante- Nuptial Contract. The word “ante” means “before” marriage).

Yes thank you. I had some details of the children from a shipping list but didn’t know where they were born and where WMH married. Will keep digging  now
