Humphrey in London

Hello, i have a John Humphrey in Kensington in 1901 age 18,as a helper,head was Matthew Kinsella. From another site i got it that John was born 3rd April 1883 Sussex, is there anyway of finding john using his birth date, where he might be or when he passed away?

1901 entry shows birthplace as Wadhurst Sussex

If the info you have is reliable there is a birth in the  June qtr 1883  If you got the info from somebody else's tree - proceed with caution - do your own research

You presumably have more than just his name.  Who did he marry?  Where does he fit into your FH?

Look him up in 1881/1891

Hi, i got his birth date from familysearch,i know his family and siblings etc.Finding him in london in 1901 was where i got to , possibly him? i cannot find him in sussex in 1901.Johns mum Charlotte was grt grandfathers sister.I dont know if John married he was only 18 in London.

Someone had it that he dies in 1959 Hailsham but i ordered that certificate and its not him,

He's not on the 1939 register with that birthdate

Thankyou CaroleW for looking, maybe Johns been mistranscribed as Humphreys etc

I will keep checking information i have to see if there is any clue as to where he is, i dont have access to the 1921 census so i couldnt see if he is on there.

He's not on the 1911 with a birthplace of Wadhurst.  There is a John Humphrey b 1884 Mayfield but he had different parents on earlier censuses

No death between 1901-1911
