Thank you for all the research! You have discovered a lot - I had wondered what had happened to Edith because the family typically stayed close to Plymouth/Stonehouse/Devonport.

The discovery of the Evenslock is very interesting. I wasn't expecting that to resurface... I posted about Edith's mother and grandmother on a different board this morning. Essentially, two of the six children (surname Lock) were given an additional Christian name (Evans) but who was Evans? Was Evans even Evens!?
