1861 Census
« on: Monday 08 April 24 14:52 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I'm looking for details of an ancestor of mine, his name is Enoch Ogden b. 1850 in Manchester, His parents were Benjamin Ogden and Mary Whitehead. I can find him on various census but not on the 1861 census.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Regards Graham Ogden

Hi,

Only found 1 set of grandparents but he isn't living with them. I am not sure of the second set of grandparents.

Regards

Some trees have him living with Henry and Sarah Ogden, as their son, in 1861.

I can only see one Enoch's birth in the correct year, mmn Whitehead.

Could they be his relatives?

David

I assume that you have seen what looks like his parents in 1861, visitors at the house of Thomas Morris in Liverpool? No Ogden children at that address.

Added:
On the other hand this looks like mother Mary with three of the children, but no husband Benjamin and no Enoch.
