Portuguese Record - Can anybody translate this for me?
« on: Monday 08 April 24 16:51 BST (UK) »
Hi All,

As the subject suggests my search has taken me to Portugal but I don't speak Portuguese.

I am searching for Francisco Perez (different variants of this surname have been used)  born in Tavira, Portugal c1816. I have found the baptism records online for the right time period and have found the attached record for a Francisco but my lack of Portuguese along with the quality of the document means I am struggling to decipher this and confirm whether or not this is the record I am looking for!

If anyone is able to translate this I would really appreciate it.

Many Thanks  :)

Not the right Francisco I'm afraid. This is Pereira, not Perez. Unless you see these 2 names as variants of the same, you'll have to continue searching.

Francisco, son of Joao Pereira & Catharina da Conceicao
