Shaw Plate Worker
« on: Wednesday 10 April 24 14:49 BST (UK) »
I have an ancestor Elizabeth Kempster and in the 1881 census she is living in Leighton Buzzard and I am sure that her occupation states 'Shaw Plate Worker'  I have googles this occupation but cannot find anything.  Has anyone got any idea what this might be please.
