unknown WW2 medal
« on: Wednesday 10 April 24 16:47 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone,

Ive been trying to find out what the attached photo of WW2 era medal issued to my uncle who was in the Royal Navy during WW2. Any assistance would be gratefully accepted. Ive search the 'net but can't find matching ribbon colours.

The ribbon looks like the Soviet Union:

Jubilee Medal "Forty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945"
