Sam (Salvatore) Anthony Camiller (Camilleri)

I wonder if anyone can help me.  I have been searching for further information regarding my great Uncle Sam (Salvatore) Camiller/i.  He was born in 1900 in Malta and at 18 years old he immigrated to the USA.  I think he initially went to Detroit to work in the car industry but moved to New York to set up/work in a family business making furniture.  I found him in the 1940 census living with his brother Joseph and his family.  I also found his paperwork for naturalization (citizenship) but after that I cannot find anything else.
We left Malta in the early 1960's and in 1967 he visited us in London with his wife Anne/a. My Mum kept on writing to him until he passed away.  I also know he lived in Little Parkway.
Can anyone help me find out when and who he married.  Did his wife die or did they divorce?
I know he worked in insurance but what I don't know.
