Please Date this Menu Excerpt
« on: Friday 12 April 24 19:46 BST (UK) »
Hello All,
I wonder if I could get a timeframe for when this menu may have been printed. The prices (55 cents for luncheon) and terms like, "pin-money" are sure clues to you my fellow history sleuths. There is a surprise on the other side I'll reveal in the next post!

I can see lots of advertisements in American newspapers for 55c luncheons from the 1920s - 1950.

Ta-da! My guess is, the inn or restaurant had a colonial theme, and someone cut out George Washington. This was a yard sale find in an old frame.

Actually, I guess it's, "Stewart's Pin Money Luncheon." There was large Stewart's Department Store in Baltimore.
