I think it reads Gemeinsmann

https://woerterbuchnetz.de/?sigle=Adelung&lemid=G01195

1) The member of a community, especially a village community
2) A type of head of a village community
3) A community arbitrator

The Gemeinsmann had a higher standing as other community menbers
i.e. he had the right to graze his livestock on the communal meadows and to use other common goods and services

Yes, you're right.

The word before religion I think is Rom C which also makes sense.

Yes, it reads Römische Religion

I think it's a shortened form of Johann which fits with the tree I have.

If you can confirm their first name is Johann, then we can safely assume this is the shortened form of it.
