Polish Translation to English

I'm uncertain if the back of this 1936 photo is readable. It was written on the back of a photo sent to who I think is my wife's grandparents. Having the script translated would offer a few clues about who the people on the front of the card really are. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Nothing Polish on this card, it's German (and an address in Poland).
Unsure about the name.

Further work on my part reveals, based on "zum Andenken", that the photo, which is a photo of two elderly people, may have been sent to the female as a remembrance of the male pictured in the photo. Sheesh, this is so important for me going forward. Once again, thank you.
