Thank you to you all for looking at this. I will ring them up or email them to ask. I have Esther's Father from the marriage cert. as David Dale a farmer. Esther that appears on the 1851 census has been wrongly transcribed as wife. She is with Brother David Dale and I believe the Barretts [transcribed as Barnett but dificult to read] were relatives. I found the connection earlier in Canada where some of the Barnetts settled, one marrying a Dale. The two witnesses are Peter Morris and Martha Golding but I can't find them on the census. I also can't find the Barretts on the other census, I would have thought that I could have found young William born in Cavan.
