Mystery MANSFIELD.family
« on: Thursday 18 April 24 10:49 BST (UK) »
Hi I've been following the wrong  ancestors for
Frances  Mansfield  who married George FUllagher

1911 census says she was born in Ireland

Have now seen baptism from 21st Feb 1887
# correction this is birth record .

Can anyone read mothers maiden name  Frances M....?

On her marriage certificate in Liverpool 1906 it says that  her father was George Mansfield a traveller

One of the witnesses is Louis Mansfield
 # correction should be Louis fullager the other witness is a cousin of George's daughter of his aunt Eliza

The writing on the screen shot is difficult to read but is a birth registration not a baptism. Here's a link to the page from the birth register to show more of the writing-

Waller perhaps but I can't see a marriage to suit.

Thanks so much
I thought it was the mother who was grocers assistant
Could the surname be Maller

It looks like same letter as start of Mansfield

However b Hertfordshire

Added - not her as the marriage for Marie Mansfield gives father as Philip.

There's a female F.M. Mansfield born County Dublin, Ireland in 1911 census but maybe just a coincidence since Frances was married in 1906?
