I am interested in a burial of Agnes Evans aged 48 in Buckley on 23 Dec 1916 (Page 90), but live too far away to visit. I would like to know where she is buried, and should there be a stone, if she is with anyone. Does anyone know if the gravestones have been transcribed?

Hello
I'm not in the local area but it looks like there was a gravestone and it's on Find a Grave .com.

www.findagrave.com/memorial/226010435/agnes-evans

It has a possible burial date 1906 but there wasn't a burial in 1906 ,only 1916 so it looks like her and the stone has weathered a bit.
The site does allow you to request a photo.I've not done it so I don't know if they charge or how much.

But it is there. There are a William and Elizabeth Evans not too faraway according to the Grave numbers.

I've checked all the MI's that have been transcribed for Buckley & Bistre. Was her husband JOSEPH and did she have a brother Jesse killed in action in 1916?

In loving memory of our dear parents
Agnes Evans 1867 -1916
Joseph Evans 1867 -1938
Our dear brother
Jesse Evans
Killed in action 1916
Aged 19 years

If so, the link to FindaGrave on post below is her.

Thanks, I was not sure who Agnes married, though had been told it was a Samuel Evans, but I have not found a marriage. The nearest birth registration for Jesse is Chester with mmn Cox. That suggests it is not the right Agnes Evans.

Added: Married Agnes Georgina Cox in 1888.
