Hi
I am trying to find out more information on John Jones who was born  October 1839 at Gwennap Cornwall England and died 24 March 1884 in Marquette Michigan Unted States on the information that I have obtain is that he was married but can not find out who to, he was the son of George Jones and Martha nee Banfield of Cornwall , his occupation was miner  thank you

Possibly just a coincidence with the common surname, but…

Michigan, U.S. Death Records
Mar 24, 1884 - John Jones, male, married, age 44. Place of death: Ishpeming (Michigan). Cause: Accidental, Gas(?). Occupation: Miner(?). Parents: George and Martha Jones, of England.
Directly below that listing:
Aug 6, 1884 - Baby Jones, male, age 0 days. Place of death: Ishpeming. Cause: Stillborn. Parents: John (“your” John would have been deceased) and Eliza Jones of Ishpeming.

Just a coincidence, or could his parents have been your John and his wife Eliza.  :-\

I have seen the post regarding the 1896 marriage for George Jones but think it is a different family,

Your George was born c 1831 and this George around 1871 (age 25 at date of marriage)'

Other than this I feel the other details shown seem to be making sense.
