Irish marriage
« on: Sunday 21 April 24 07:55 BST (UK) »
Can you help me decipher the profession of Hugh Nesbitt?
Even better, would be to decipher the residence at time of marriage of both Hugh and Catherine. Catherine resided in the Parish of Killany/Killanny (Co Moneghan)
TIA

Simon,
FindMyPast has R I Constabulary records, I think.

Here is a birth of a daughter, Catherine in 1866. Hugh is a Bailiff. The family are in Geashill, Kings county (Offaly).

You may have the children and these later records though.
