Hello lovely people

Looking for some help finding marriages and any children from some ancestors.

My x3 great grandparents had 9 children all born in the turretts charleville Co Cork.

William carroll and Bridge lennehan had
Edmond 22/06/1902--11/08/22

Anne 20/02/1899 m Patrick Clifford

Jeremiah 21/03/1897--1917 France and
flanders

Patrick 21/05/1889 m Norah Mccarthy

The other children go to new york

Margaret (maggie) 06/06/1895
Ship-New York 9th Dec 1916

William 19/11/1893
Ship-Baltic 15th July 1920

Mary (Minnie) 04/06/1890
Ship-New York 20th March 1913

Cathrine Anne(katie/kitty) 13/12/1887
Ship-20th march 1913

Bridget (Bridie) 10/02/1892
Ship-Adriatic 7th May 1919

Cathrine is travelling with Bridget in 1919 on her married name Morrissey , dont think this
is Bridgets first travel to the USA.

William marries Cathrine Dennehy in New York.

I can't find marriages for Bridget,  Mary or
Margaret or any children for them.

Any help finding who they married and any decendents would be much appreciated

Thank you all

Edmond Carroll died unmarried-

Anne Carroll married Patrick Clifford in 1923. He died in 1951 and she in 1969. Irish Genealogy only shows births over 100 years old so if they did have any children their births are now online. Anne was the informant for her husband's death but when Ann died it was her nephew William Carroll so perhaps they have no family, no surviving children or children were not in the area.

Patrick Carroll had at least five children-
1. Mary Bridget (1912)

2. William (1913)

3. Jeremiah (1915)

4. Kate (1917)

5. Patrick (1922)

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I think your date of birth for Margaret may be off (or Margaret may have had it wrong).  The passenger list you mentioned has markings on it that indicate Margaret sought naturalization in 1940.  The record of detained aliens says she was released to her sister Mrs. Morris Morrissey of 183 West 97th St, New York City, so that might fit with the sister you mentioned.

The naturalization records indicate that Margaret was born 14 May 1898 in County Cork and was married to James Long on 18 May 1919 in Manhattan and they had 4 children.  The marriage record for that date has parents that fit with your Margaret.  https://a860-historicalvitalrecords.nyc.gov/view/8776138

Margaret's daughter Theresa's obituary is here - https://www.newspapers.com/article/daily-news-obituary-for-theresa-m-long/145851088/  All of her siblings predeceased her.

Per Margaret's naturalization record, her children were Daniel b. 12 Oct. 1919, Margaret b. 23 Dec. 1923, Isabelle b. 12 Dec. 1927, and Theresa b. 14 Jun. 1930, all born in NY City.

James, Margaret, & family are in NY City for the 1940 & 1950 census.  All the children are there in 1940, and all have moved out except Theresa in 1950.  Margaret, James, and Theresa are on the same gravestone as Bridget Carnegie.

Thank you all iv spent so long searching for then in NY and kept coming up empty handed.

Didn't know about William carroll the nephew reporting Anne's death. William was my great grandfather and the son of Patrick who stayed in Ireland.

Margaret's birth date is definitely right but iv found alot of ages that don't add up searching my Irish side.

Got me wondering now.  What happened to Bridget and why she died so young.

Thank you again
