Is there anyway someone could help me with this image please. I've worked in photoshop before, but I have very little experience with restoring images, and my attempts have been less than successful.
This image is linked to my Mothers flickr account where a larger image can be downloaded from. Any help in this matter would be very appreciated!

Hi PrueM,
Thank you for the speedy reply...
I'm actually looking for a way to clean it up a bit more...
I'll have to admit, I use photoshop for creating banners and the like... I have no experience actually modifying existing images, and my attempts generally look worse than the orignal
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Rick

Wow!
That was quick!
I have no clue how you can get such good results in so short of time...
Thats great, thank you, it takes a bit of getting used to seeing him in color after seeing him in B&W all these years!
thanks again,
Rick

Hi Ben
I used PSP 9 to do the Colouring...I used the Freehand Tool..and the Ajust..Hue and Saturation to add the colour.. I didn't use the Layer Effect because i find it difficult to use...
Am Glad you Liked the Photo and Got most things right in the Image

Out of interest, have you any Idea were and when the photo was taken?
I ask because of colouring in general, fitting etc.
It could mean the plate next to Ben could be Brass for example.
