Can anyone help me with looking for my great x 3 grandfather, who was born around 1811, I believe he was born in Co Down, and came to live in Whitehaven where he married and had children.
His name was spelt in various ways, and I would value any advice in how to trace his Irish roots?
I'm not sure if he is Roman Catholic.
