Tinkler family

I am trying to trace further back regarding the Tinkler family.  They originated from The Baldersdale and the Middleton in Teasdale.  At the time Baldersdale came under the Yorkshire boundary but it now comes under the Durham boundary.
The last person I can find is John Tinkler DOB 27 Dec 1797 born Baldersdale Died 7 June 1824 Middleton in Teasdale.
I cannot find his father or his mothers details.
