Hi.

Am looking for the parents of Thomas Webster B:1778? Has a suggestion of Thomas (William) and Mary no other details.

Have had suggestions of William Webster and Jane Bennett but this doesn't seem to work with hereditary names. Also suggest Grace as a wife.

Looks likely her mother is with them in 1841, remarried.

Marriage also recorded in Helston. Could be related to brides parish? Around 4 miles from Crowan

I do have Franny's details and are very firm on them. It was Thomas' side that I was having the issues with. It is such a common name! I realised that with the parents I had chosen, none of the names continued and the Thomas was to have married a Grace a few yrs after marrying Fanny. It was just not adding up!

There is a Thomas and Grace Webster in Crowan on the censuses born 1781/1783 but he was born in Cambourne and it also says that on the marriage.
There is a christening Thomas Webster s of William and Jane in Camborne 7.3.1784 which would fit nicely .So different chap.
I think you are on the right track with Thomas and Joan 1776 Corwan.
